This could really have been a happy story. They have (as GDPR demands) made the default for the non-necessary cookies to be disabled. Once you are about to close the dialogue however: there's a big blue "OK"-like button, and a dimmed barely readable text. Which one to click? Chose wisely!
If you didn't pay attention, you just enabled all tracking by
uninformed consent.
This is why we can not trust web site operators. Especially not when they depend on passing your behavioural data to the mining companies for income. And even the ones you wouldn't think needed that extra money still does it. Not even for the money, but because it is easier than not tracking you. That's how shit the web has become!
So be sure to block everything you can. Block ads, block trackers, block scripts — block the web if that's what we need to get our humanity back.
