oh nice, what gear did you use, hardware or VSTs? Sounds like an Electron.

Thank you. I was in a hurry so I used software even though I prefer making music without a daw ;)

I never used the default instruments much, always installed plugins or used hardware. If you prefer not to use daws, what else do you use to record your stuff, a multi tracker?

@

I am still on Ableton 8 since I switched to Bitwig because of Linux compatibility. I just used Ableton since I am familiar with it's video implementation.
I haven't been recording anything in a while. IBut when I record I do it either on a 4-track cassette recorder or as a one shot recording without single tracks.
What hardware do you use?

At the moment I'm using a Behringer Deepmind 12 as master keyboard, also Behringer Crave, K2 and Neutron. There are some others parked in the attic.

Behringer often clones old synthesizers and sells them for a very fair price. DeepMind 12 --> Roland Juno 106 K2 --> Korg MS-20 Crave is a rather simple but interesting analog mono synth which sells for 150,- € - It offers direct knob access for all parameters and quite a few patch points for the low price. The Neutron is a 300,- € semi-modular with 2 VCOs and a big patch field.
